- Credit records (Fund Management Sensitive Positions)
- Criminal records (such as DUI)

- Workers’ compensation record
- Other verifications as necessary
In addition to the above, a third-party process may compile a report regarding
- Candidate's character
- General reputation
- Personal characteristics
- Mode of living
This also would include the permissible purpose of the report; the name, address, telephone number of the reporting agency; and the nature and scope of the investigation requested.
Obtaining a consumer report for screening is regulated by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), California’s Investigative Consumer Reporting Agencies Act, and the California Consumer Credit Reporting Agency Act.
